DebasementHedge.

A working product by Charles Forth

I built an early warning for supply chains.

DebasementHedge reads filings, earnings calls and trade press across five supply chains and pulls out the physical facts: orders, capacity, lead times. It flags the ones that move a thesis before the market prices them in.

How I built it.

Five stages, one decision each. Every source runs the same pipeline: pick a stage to see what it does and the call I made there.

Stage 01 · Sources

SEC EDGAR filings, earnings-call transcripts, exchange disclosures from Taiwan, Korea and Japan, and trade press, polled on a schedule.

The decision

Physical facts only. Calls are read for orders, capex, utilisation and lead times, never for management tone. The product watches the physical layer, not the commentary on it.

Ask it.

Give the agent one physical fact. It works out which companies the fact moves, ranks them, and says why.

AI servers are driving a surge in demand for MLCCs (multilayer ceramic capacitors). Who benefits most, in order?

Vicor · unclearVicor manufactures high-density power modules that incorporate MLCCs as filtering and decoupling elements; the MLCC price surge compresses its module margin, but AI rack power demand drives volume — exposure to the MLCC surge itself is net-negative but small relative to its demand tailwind.
